Attention Iberian Sulphur Horse owners:
DNA is not required for registration of a BLM or captive bred Sulphur's. It has been decided by ASHA's Board of Directors, that having a DNA test is optional. If you want the DNA testing done for your Sulphur Horse, please contact the testing center directly.
When you receive your DNA testing kit, please follow the instructions and forward your DNA samples directly to DNA Lab. A copy of the results of your DNA test should be sent to me.
If and when you sell your registered Sulphur horse, please forward this information to the new owner. DNA testing applications must be submitted in the current owner’s name, therefore, horses that have been sold need to be transferred into the new owner’s name. If your horse has been gelded or has died, please notify me.
